Picasa 3 - download

I earlier had an article online that mused about the weirdness with the Picasa 3 product page. However, since this article is no longer relevant (due to Picasa 3 being out), I figured I could write something different.

First of all, as a personal comment, I am somewhat disappointed with the face recognition feature, which is actually ONLY available if you upload your pictures to the web, and even then only seems to recognice 9 or 10 faces per picture. I uploaded a group picture in fairly high resolution and only 10 faces (but from all rows of the group) were recognized.

That said, I really like Picasa 3. The collage features are amazing for desktop backdrops or even the odd poster. If you wonder where to download Picasa 3, you can find it here.
